• RealNetworks is releasing a whole new type of live ad insertion.  But even as internet audio has ramped up, online versions of traditional radio stations remain silent in the wake of several law suits
• And now that the major record labels have released online catalogs for legitimate audio sales, you'd think everything would be great, right?  Wrong.  There's still a tech vs. music disconnect...just in time to not happen for Christmas.

CIAC debunks a wide range of Internet hoaxes.  They also deal with a variety of Internet chain letters.  (If it sounds too good to be true, it is.)

And let's not forget the Urban Legends Site, home of the exploding whale (but the whale was real).  And the Snopes Urban Legends Site is amazingly thorough and up-to-date.

I like the CIAC site, which also has a major Virus database.

One really top-notch site offers a variety of anti-Virus solutions.

The two best known anti-Virus packages are McAfee's and Norton's.

• To find businesses, many people go to Switchboard.Com, an online phone book.
