The concept of music is intangible. You can hear it but you can't touch it. Monty's Fan Club wants to change that. Since the establishment of their final lineup in 2001, these five natives of the Ocean State have been working relentlessly to make big waves in the music world. Any fan of live music will feel surprisingly refreshed, yet slightly out of breath after a trademark energetic MFC show. You're not just at the show, but part of it. Come see and hear for yourself. Then, you'll understand how Monty's Fan Club can walk the walk to match all the talk that's been buzzing about their infamous live performances.

This past summer MFC has moved in together, which has allowed them to concentrate more on the band. By the time you've read this, they've played another show, written another song, gained more loyal fans from across the nation and the world, recruited more street team members, designed more t-shirts, booked another tour, self-promoted their new (independently produced and written) EP even more, expanded their website, updated their mailing list, plotted another point on their plan for success--and they have no intention of stopping anytime soon. All this, while making the dean's list at four separate universities. This is because they're passionately and unwaveringly dedicated to everything they do. As individuals, they all have bright futures off of the stage, but the band, the music, and the fans are, and will always be, what's most important to them. Four days of hitting the books, and 5 days of practicing, performing and promoting might seem a little too much for the average student or musician. Please don't mistake these guys for average. The amount of time, energy, blood, and sweat that have gone into the band cannot be measured. Since the beginning, MFC has done everything on there own from booking, to promotions, merchandise, to street team management. For MFC it's never been a job, it's what they live for. The desire to create great music brought them together. Their close friendships strengthened the bond. And the experiences they've had sharing their passion with others through their music keeps them coming back day in and day out.
It seems to be working...

A fan's first real experience with MFC begins when the band walks onto the stage. MFC wants you to do more than hear the music. They want to engulf you in their live performance, overwhelm you with their energy, and have you take part of them home with you after the show. They want you to come away with something more than just a catchy hook stuck in your head or a CD to listen to on the car ride home. They're not satisfied until the entire club has become one giant stage, and everyone in the crowd is singing as loud, jumping as high, moshing as hard, and enjoying themselves as much as they are. They want to share their passion, and more importantly inspire you to find your own passion, to start your own band. Make your own music. To spread the MFC word. To make the intangible, tangible.
